I purchased the Biomax 600 along with the stand, (waaay to lazy to stand for 20 mins) and I couldn’t be happier! I was ecstatic that I was able to use my flexible spending account from work to pay for the light.
I had a total knee replacement 4 1/2 weeks ago. Two days after my surgery I started using the bio max on my knee daily for 20 minutes. Even though I had a protective tape over the top of my scar, I continue to use it to help heal my tissue, muscles and bones beneath the skin. Due to the light, I had very minimal swelling therefore, I was able to easily perform the exercises as instructed by my doctor.
On my sixth day post op, my physical therapist told me I have progressed as if I had surgery six weeks ago! I went to see my doctor 12 days after surgery and he couldn’t believe how great my scar looked and how far I could bend and straighten my leg.
He said he just started researching about red light therapy after a knee replacements and he said he is a total believer now!
My dog had an eye ulcer. He was on medication for a month. Nothing changed. I started putting him under the red light for his arthritis and his eye was cleared up within five days. My vet told me to continue placing him under the lamp to help with inflammation. She has been trying to get her employer to get a Red Light laser to use on animals after surgery.
My goal is to get another bio max 600 at the beginning of next year so I can do my total body front and then back.

I get a chair next to the bio max and lie on the floor and prop my calf’s up on the chair to get the bottoms of my feet about 8 inches away.
