“Received the two BioMax900 units and stand about 10 days ago. Unpacking and setting up was fairly easy although the two units weigh at least 40 pounds so tricky to mount on the roller stand. The stand is a must although the pivot tension screw and knob are woefully inadequate to hold the heavy lights in any position and the little set screws are difficult to use so I replaced with a properly sized bolt. Only issue is you have two positions; horizontal or vertical and nothing in between.
I love being able to roll the unit out to the couch or set up over a bed.
The phone app is very easy to use and customize on either my, or my wife's phone.
We don't need or use the voice commands. Kind of unnecessary if you ask me.
The lights are powerful and warming. We are in our 60s and my wife has used a red-light mask with good results. In addition to daily hot tub, then ice bath, red light therapy is one more benefit to a healthy lifestyle.”
“The light works great. I like the flexibility of choosing different settings for the red, NIR, and blue lights. I wasn’t able to get it to work with the app; I use the voice commands. It doesn’t come with a dust cover.
My primary concern with using the larger panel is that it’s more difficult to isolate the treatment area.
There’s not a lot of research available on how red light therapy affects people with bipolar disorder and ADHD. Be aware that treatments of as few as 3 minutes may be felt in your head (especially when treated on the front). If you’re sensitive to your environment or to your body’s immune response you may want to take it slow and support yourself with extra rest and hydration.”
“If you are going to invest in Red Light Therapy you need to not waste time and money on any other brand. I am a believer in Red Light Therapy since I use a friends BioMax 900 for about 2 weeks daily and it helped my edema and my neuropathy within 2-3 days. I have mine set up in my bathroom for total privacy and am 100% happy with it. I just wish I could afford the 4 panels instead of 2 but maybe someday.”
