“Rack is strong and roll’s in any direction with ease. The drawback would be the way it locks the light unit in place. We use the light horizontally and vertically and the system used is not user friendly in switching between the two”
“I really like this stand - I just wish it would also stand up vertically, which it doesn't. It's a little hard to move up and down because it's so heavy - but it works great and allows me to be laying down and move the light around where I need it. Just wish it went up and down a little smoother. But so far it's doing the job!”
“In my opinion the stand is a MUST. Before I had the stand, I used it on the door, and I didn't really like sitting in a chair or standing up to do my treatments. I LOVE just laying in my bed!”
“I purchased the Horizontal Stand to mount two BioMax 450 units. First off, let me say that the instructions are atrocious. Assembly of the Stand is just a series of five pictures, lacking any words, the details of which you need to watch closely as to left and right "feet" relative to the vertical post.
If you are only mounting one LED Panel, the Step 6 and 7 pictures adequately show the arrangement. One important note!: there is quite a bit of hardware provided in one plastic bag, but there are four longer screws in a separate plastic bag for attaching the Panel to the brackets that mount the Panel to the stand.
I purchased two BioMax 450 Panels. The substitute Step 6 drawing for mounting two units appears to address, perhaps, two BioMax 600 units (two 900's would be too heavy) and uses both pairs of brackets that come with the Stand. For the two BioMax 450 Panels, only the shorter pair of brackets were needed. It is up to the purchaser to determine which one pair (or both pairs) of brackets to use, though it appears the shorter pair should always be used.
If you route the power cord in an orderly manner, be prepared with an adequate extension cord, as for me it did not even reach the floor.
With the weight of the two units attached to the horizontal bar, it is very difficult for one person to adjust their height. Two people are recommended. I use the Stand with a massage table, which works very well.
The instructions for setting up the two units do not represent the actual control panel steps and menu, so, again, you are somewhat on your own.
Finally, having written the above, the Horizontal Stand, in my opinion, is well worth the cost. In combination with a table on which to lay, it provides a means to comfortably use the Panel(s) most effectively.”
“This stand works great. I just wish that the adjustment holds were not so far a part. I'd like the option to adjust it an inch or two. Not an entire 3" up or down at a time. It is difficult to adjust the height so I tend to just leave it set up at one height. It's very heavy and can't be adjusted without help. It's also to large to fit through a bedroom door, so you will want to pick a room to set it up in and leave it there.”
“I am 80 years old and knew I would not have either the patience nor the stamina to stand in front of the light for 10 or 20 minutes. I bought the horizontal rack and lie on my bed listening to soothing music and look forward to it twice a day.”
