“The stand is definitely well-built and sturdy—it securely holds the red light panel in place and gives peace of mind that everything is stable. However, adjusting the height could be more user-friendly. In order to move the panel up or down, you have to fully unscrew and then re-tighten the locking knob that secures the vertical post in place.
While this mechanism works, I wish it were designed more like adjustable gym equipment—where you simply pull a pin, slide to your desired height, and release to lock. Because the light panel is a bit heavy, the current method of screwing and unscrewing the knob can feel awkward and a little cumbersome.
Overall, it’s a solid piece of equipment, but a quick-adjust feature would make it even better and more convenient to use—especially if you’re moving the panel frequently for different treatments.”
“The stand was easy to set up and use. The wheels all have locks which is a nice touch. The feet of the rack need nearly 4” of clearance.
I ordered one 900 bio max panel. It’s heavier than I anticipated. If you plan on adjusting the height I’d recommend the hydraulic. I’m 5’2” and I can rest the metal arm, with padding, on my shoulder while I adjust the light to ~38”. The adjustments are ~3” apart.
If used horizontally you’ll probably need an extension cord.
The package was heavy.”
