This popular stand for the 900 Biomax Panel was on back order for a couple of weeks, but when it shipped, it arrived very quickly. I sent it to my office so if I was out, my office manager could sign for it. Once it arrived, I took it home and assembled it with my husband's help. Since you are attaching a light panel it helps to have 2 people. I'm just going to say right now, READ the instructions! If you are going to attach 2 panels, the instructions will be different than just a single panel. Word of advice, tighten all screws and make sure they are on correctly, front and back! Once I got the panel on, moving it was very easy. I like to position the panel about 6-8 inches above my target area for therapy. This rack stand is adjustable, and easily changed to different levels. I chose to purchase the rack instead of just hanging the panel on a door because I get too impatient just standing around, and this way you can lie down and relax. I use my light panel over a bed in my guest room, but I'm sure even a couch would work as long as the wheels can fit under the edge. The light panels are not cheap, but you might as well splurge and get the rack stand for it in order to receive the most beneficial therapy.

We mounted two BIOMAX900 lights end to end on our rack and they are heavy so it was a little hard to get them mounted. It is also heavy to adjust their height. Glad we got the rack though.

I couldnt justify the cost of the motorized version of this stand as I am the only person using the device in my household. I have only a single biomax900 on the stand (for now- going to get a half lenght 12" biomax to add on). Raising it up and down is a bit awkward but doable. With 2 devices it would be VERY awkward but as my strenght improves more doable. Fortunately I set the height once a bit high when first using and now have it where I want it and I'm done. If more than one person will be using it or you want more than just 2 lights in a row and move from "cosmetic depth to deep tissue mode then go big and get the mororized lift with the remoat. But if you are happy with one setting or dont mind messing with manually adjusting then this is a more budget friendly option. Very ruggedly built and went together easilty. Can only accomodate 2 lights end to end so if you think you are going to go with 24" of width you need the giant motorized one. If money is no object- get the motorized one. A married couple friends have it and they are glad to have the flexability. They have 2 900's on it.

First of all, the way this stand was packed in its shipping container was very impressive. Very secure, sturdy, and protected. All of the tools needed for assembly were included. I assembled the manual horizontal stand by myself — very easy. The stand is very sturdy and a bit heavy — It is high-quality. It’s on wheels which I love as it makes it so easy to move the stand. By myself, I attached the Biomax 900 panel to the horizontal stand. I did this by stacking a few pillows on top of my bed and then carefully putting the panel on top. I rolled the stand over the panel and attached it with the screws. This way, I didn’t have to try and hold it in the air or require any assistance.

The stand is sturdy and fits our needs. It enables us to relax and lay comfortably on a bed while doing the red light therapy. Changing the height positions is a two person task and not easy to do. Fortunately, we don't have to change height positons for our usage.
