“It may not be necessary but it is a nice addition. My light is mounted on the motorized stand. This remote lets me adjust the timer without needing to get up.”
“Nice compact size remote but still getting use to it and when you program it , the unit's system does not always respond to the settings that you programed or turn on from the remote so I am not sure if this is a design flaw or consumer user issue since the system is still new to me.”
