“The BackBone One is the best controller I have purchased for my phone that was exclusively made for my phone. It feels good and it functions very well. I replaced my Xbox One controller that had a clip for the phone, which worked very well, but I felt like giving this a shot, and I prefer. it feels more integrated, and I like the options to record clips. My only gripe is that I wish it had a case for it, even if it had to be purchased separately. I eventually found one, but as durable as it may feel, I always worry about throwing controllers into backpacks.”

“The Backbone One - An unbiased, new to mobile gaming review. Guys… this controller is what you want and need for mobile gaming. I purchased this controller when I first purchased my 12 Pro Max. For three weeks straight, I played a range of games via mobile using this controller. Sky COTL, COD Mobile, Oceanhorn, numerous games on Steam Link. Full Stop. Purchased the Kishi, sat down the Backbone. Same games, same amount of time. I am now using the Backbone again and I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!! Items that I thought initially were and issue that have been overcome with minor tweaks and adaptation in time: 1. The 12 Pro Max fits. Without a case only. A minor concern for me was the camera on the back rubbing against the frame. Regardless of positioning, it always rubbed. My solution was to use a dremel and gently carve the space needed, followed by a heat gun to smooth it back down. 2. My hands hurt from using the Backbone. I have big hands. (￣.￣)ゞ This was never a problem before. I understand now that it was like stretching a muscle that you’ve never really used or getting a blister from new shoes. Time thought my hands how to hold it to be comfortable. Their app is very fluid and does not leave much to desire. Thank you Backbone Labs for a solid and dependable controller. I’m looking forward to your new developments and progress as a company. ٩( ᐛ )و”

“Excellent build quality. I’ve used mine on a daily basis since purchase and it has no signs of wear or tear. The buttons are responsive and have a nice feedback when pressed. I’ve been able to remote play PS5 and Xbox Series X games with no loss in functionality. I’d say I’ve used my backbone more than I’ve used the actual controllers that came with the systems. Very excited to see a version 2.0 down the line. The only improvements I would like to see is some better home button solutions for the console games and If there was some way to map the screen buttons to the controller for every mobile game.”

“After having one for a little while I can say this thing is amazing! Playing my xbox on my iPhone is one if the greatest experiences! My only complaint is that I wish it were a ergonomic for my hands wrists/forearms. Otherwise a top tier item for sure!”
