“I got this after hearing Griffin McElroy and Russ Frushtick talk about it on the Besties podcast. I honestly did not expect to love it as much as them, I have used it almost every day since it came in the mail. It works perfectly with my iphone xr, works with every Apple Arcade game, and most app store games, including Steam Link and Moonlight The build quality is really good! My R2 trigger was getting stuck just a little at full pull at first but it may have been manufacturing burrs because after using it enough everything is smooth and clicky now. The only part of this I'm worried about is the exposed Lightning jack at the end, I'm worried I will pull the phone out and snap it off one day. I'm also thinking about the spring inside that holds the tension, and wondering if it can be replaced. Really really impressed, great value for money, I'll keep an eye on anything you're working on next!”

“I love this thing. Very comfortable. Very responsive sticks and buttons. Works great with my playstation, Xbox, and apple arcade. I love being able to play while the main tv is in use.”

“The backbone works PERFECT for games directly on your iPhone. However, I don’t know why they also advertised it working well with remote play or any game streaming services where the input lag is out of their control, no pun intended. Overall, though, the Backbone makes your iPhone feel like a heavyweight console.”
