“The Backbone is one of the best controllers (if not the best) that you can use for mobile gaming. The best part is that it’s “plug n’ play”. No need for bluetooth connectivity, no need to charge it, no batteries, and the controller relays minimal power from your phone. Once it’s connected, you have the option of pressing the orange backbone logo button and opening the backbone app which gives you a console like interface right on your phone. From there you have access to the following: • Your downloaded games and compatible apps • Recommended games for the Backbone • Party chat features • Tips and tricks for your Backbone • Free offers and rewards • and so much more Aside from those features, the Backbone also has a charging port to charge your phone while you play, and headphone Jack. A HEADPHONE JACK!!! That means you can take your headset and get the same sound from a console. Especially if you’re using remote play or cloud gaming on Playstation and Xbox, given you have a good connection to either of those. But wait, there’s more… You can also use the charging port to connect your backbone to other devices. If you have an iPad, MacBook, or any other laptop (not sure about chromebooks and other tablets) you can connect the charging port to those devices with compatible cables and use the Backbone as a wired controller. In other words, it’s a universal remote for gaming if you don’t already own a bunch of controllers. Long story short. If you’re heavy on mobile games, love to play your console games away from home, or simply don’t own a controller for your gaming needs I recommend you get a Backbone controller. P.s. “I love the Backbone. I got it primarily to play PlayStation via the PS Remote app and it works brilliantly. Best experience I had so far. Feels a lot like my Switch regarding the buttons but it is more comfortable in the hands.”

“Product works well. Not perfect as sometimes the right joystick is non responsive while playing Apex Mobile, you have to exit the existing match unfortunately then re-enter, but you then just loose out on that match. Other than that it works like a charm, worth the $100 price tag. I’d like the them to add other attachments or maybe a slight redesign of where the phone sits so that you can play even with a phone case on. And maybe a future model where it has a battery or a battery attachment and possibly rumble support? Maybe a pro model? Yeah!”
