“The old Badger Unit lasted for over 25 years, so I purchased another, its easy to install unless you need to replace the "ring/rubber seal" in the sink, then its a 2 man job. If you have some small claps to hold the ring in place, it can be done alone.”
“Purchased as a replacement for the same make/model. This came with a cord to plug into an outlet. I had no outlet - the previous one was hardwired. The instruction paper did not even mention a hardwired install. I ended up hiring someone to install this. He kept the same mounting pieces rather than take out the original.”
“My prior Incinerator lasted about three years. This one died after a year and a half. I called incinerator immediately and sent proof of purchase; they agreed that it was under warranty. Shipped it promptly with no problem.”
“This disposal is the same brand I replaced after 17 years of use. After watching a YouTube video, I decided to install myself. I recommend viewing before install. All necessary components and removal tool are included except plumber’s putty, lighting and recommended tools, or any new upgrades (outlet). The instructions are so-so. You will need an adolescent or adult to assist. My disposal was hard wired, so I upgraded a plug-in outlet (also on YouTube). An assistant is needed to hold down the drain for flange install otherwise it’s a straight forward install. Additionally, the disposal weight is deceptive working in limited space under the sink. It took an hour plus to install. I had one interruption to replace a PVC fitting (my fault) and the new outlet replacement. I only rated this product four stars, but I do recommend this brand as a replacement or new install. I washed dishes right after install (make sure you knock out dishwasher plug if applicable).”
“This one is a breeze to install the first time. No leaks, everything works. Took 10 mins and just a flathead screw driver. No need to buy any extra "easy" power cables. It's all included.”
“Picked this model because was what I currently had. Just undid drain pipe and twisted the clamp, old one came off, put new one on by attaching drain pipe and twisted the locking clamp, all done and works great. Price was better than all the hardware stores in my area too”
