“Got this to replace a 8+ year old version of this exact model. Super easy to install as a direct replacement. A few screws, twist off the old/broken disposal, and install this in reverse and plug into the wall.I suspect even installing this to a brand new sink would be easy for anyone with even minor home repair ability.FWIW the last one lasted about 8 years. I think that is fair considering the cost.”
“My old Badger garbage disposal was leaking. It was over 20 years old and due to be replaced. I was pleased with the model that we had and so decided to replace it with the exact same model. plumbingsupplyandmore. had a great price. I watched several YouTube videos on how to properly disassemble the old garbage disposal And attach a new one. Because I was using the same model it was pretty straightforward. I was confident I could do it myself - and save $325. You need a few good screwdrivers, a hammer, a good wrench, threading tape to reattach plastic PVC piping along with a great flashlight and one for the forehead, too was very helpful. I took pictures of the back of my disposal before disassembling it Then continued to take pictures as I unhooked the plumbing, etc. so I could refer back to my pictures if I got confused or simply wanted to double check my work. I did not need to replace the sink drain part as it was in great shape and the under framing lined up perfectly with the new installation which saved a lot of aggravation. I’m a small person with limited skills however, after watching the videos repeatedly, I laid out all my tools, a bucket, paper towel, and clean rags along with the parts for the disposal. From start to finish it took me just over an hour because I was taking my time. If I can do this, you can too! I had a recommend this product.”
