“After 25 years the previous Badger 5 had to be replaced. The new one had the exact dimensions and mounting details. I did not have to put even the new sink flange in, just swapped the rubber seal. Very easy replacement.”
“Next day plumbingsupplyandmore delivery was ideal for leaking disposal. But having a leak just short of 3yrs old, was not ideal. The warranty is 2yrs, of course, but I really expected this should last several years? Easy installation. Hoping this one lasts longer.”
“As my handyman skills are about 7 out of 10, I bought the badger 5 (standard) with a power cord. The extra 5 bucks for the garbage disposal with the power cord was a reasonable price to pay. Installation was straightforward: 15 mins of youtube plus 15 mins to remove the old disposal and another 15 mins to install the new one. The new disposal replaces a badger 5 that was installed 19 yrs old that started leaking last week. Hope this new one also lasts 19 yrs! Thanks to the Badger engineering & product teams for a wonderful, reasonably priced product.”
