“Had a plumber install a sewage pit ejector for a basement bathroom install. He installed a cheap one, and when the pump kicked on it would pump the water up out of the pit but when it shut off the water in the pipe would slam back down on the flapper causing loud noise. Installed this and no more banging noise or pipe banging. I bought one of a different brand for my sump pump for the same reason.”
