“This shower head is life changing! It is very large and feels like I am being showered in a warm steamy strong rainfall. I read prior reviews and followed instructions of pulling out the plastic green flow restrictor using pliers prior to installation. The flow is so strong even with the rain setting, I hardly turn it up to the stronger setting! I will definitely be taking this showerhead with me when I move to another house! Cannot recommend enough!”
“My boss (wife) loves it, it replaced a worn out cheap Moen shower head in a stand up only shower stall. So, I get food on the dinner table and clean laundry till my next misdemeanor. I took out the flow restrictor but the boss wanted it put back as Moen designed it that way. Yes madame! Done still thinking about food and clean laundry.I am thinking to get myself one too, but I think my typical bath tub shower may not be wide enough. Maybe I try hers first.I read at least one review said made in the USA. I checked my packaging box, made in China. By the way, the design is very nice and yes, it is not cheap for a shower head.”
“It's so nice just to stand under the water and enjoy a rinse that feels like a warm rainfall. Nice. And you can turn the valve to receive a faster, stronger rinse if you like. I wouldn't call it a power rinse, but it's strong enough to do the job when you need it. Also, it's not a 12" shower head that has no valve option. It's 6" which is another feature I like because I save on water and still enjoy the shower. Really nice product.”
“Good waterflow. Excellent upgrade to our shower. We installed the Kingston 17" arm so this showerhead can point straight down and is far enough from the wall.”
“This is a very nice shower head. I like the simplicity. A single lever switches it from rain mode to a more centralized and forceful normal shower stream. In the past I had several shower heads that had lots of different adjustment. None of which were used much. I found the setting I liked and left it there. The few times I did try to switch settings, I found it difficult and frustrating to twist the dial. Especially after a few years when lime deposits built up. The lever on the new Moen Velocity makes it very easy to switch modes. It looks really nice too.”
“This shower head is awesome. It provides good, even water pressure and I like that it does not splash too much on the shower door. Like others I removed the green flow regulator. It is very easy to install. I gave it 4 stars instead if 5 because Moen doesn’t have it in stainless steel, which would have matched the rest of my hardware. Highly recommended! Don’t wait.”
“Never bought an expensive shower head before so at 200 bucks I figured it would be pretty good, and overall it is. Installation is a breeze, no leaks when installed properly with some plumber's tape, and looks good (and is quite wide at 8" diameter). The switch seems to work well between more powerful (utilizing about half the diameter) and the full, rain flow.I did remove the restrictor before installation and I have to say that the flow is quite powerful and feels great on the back. I usually use half the water flow because it does feel like a bit too much flow, but I guess it's better to cut back on the water most of the time but still have the option for high pressure flow when you want it.The head swivels a bit but wish it could swivel more as my shower is a bit cramped and a more downward flow would be better. Will upload a video of the flow so people can see what it's like without the restrictor (of course, YMMV based on where you live; I live in Seattle). Very happy with it so far and hope it keeps working well for at least 5 years!”
