“Was hesitant about spending this much for a shower head, but after reading so many good reviews decided to take the chance. I love my shower time and this really added to the experience. Just completed my master bath renovation and this really added to the quality of the construction. I get many comments on how beautiful it looks in the shower. It has great full body coverage and just feels wonderful. It also has two settings...rain fall and high pressure. Never use the high pressure as I mainly want to relax with the normal setting which works great.Finish and material are high quality.Highly recommend.”
“That was my wife's first reaction to this shower head. I would say that this is spot on.We purchased this because it was highly rated by CR. Installation was a breeze. If you can change a lightbulb, you can change a shower head - OK, so you'll need a wrench to loosen the old head/tighten the new one.Other reviews, both here on plumbingsupplyandmore as well as elsewhere, go to great lengths describing how to take out the flow restrictor. We live in an older building in an older community. Our water pressure is adequate at best. I found that taking out the little rubber "O" ring resulted in plenty of pressure. The "rain" setting was very gentle but adequate, the "force" setting was very strong. I didn't see the need to take out the little green gizmo as was described by some folks. To go back to my wife's comments .... expensive but worth every penny.”
“This shower head is a great product, although it feels kind of cheap in your hands with the top and bottom plates not being pressed and solid, for the price I think it should be solid. I started with the eco performance & I really didn't like it due to the pressure so I exchanged it for the standard model witch has more flow at 2.5 gpm & it's still wasn"t quite what I wanted so I started with just removing the rubber O ring on the restricter and it was more than enough!! So that's where I left it, did not need to remove the restricter it's self. I would have given it five stars but as I said earlier I think they need to work on the construction of it and drop the price a bit. Oh and the first one I had the bottom half leaked at all times that's not normal, after the exchange I haven't had that problem any more.”
“We started out leaving the green plastic piece (flow restrictor) in. The flow was fine, very full and relaxing. However I thought, based on other reviews, that we could get more of a massage effect by removing the restrictor. Trying with 3 different needle nose pliers, pulling on the green tabs inside, I was unable to remove it, and actually broke one of the four tabs off!Am wondering, is the green plastic piece glued in or screwed in? Or is it just extremely tightly fit in? Anyone know any other methods to remove the whole thing?Meanwhile I did remove the black o-ring in the annulus between the outer perimeter of the flow restrictor and the four tabs, which exposed the flow holes in the restrictor more completely. This increased the shower flow somewhat, but probably not as much if I could have removed the entire piece. Any helpful comments would be appreciated.I would upgrade this to 5 stars if I weren't having so much trouble removing the restrictor.”
“My wife and I have had a multi-selection (different pressure and messages) shower head for years. When it cam time to replace it we decided to replace it with a large shower head like we had at an upscale hotel in Key West. We can be happier with the Moen 2 function rain shower. The gentle rain is more relaxing than any multifunction shower we have ever used. The higher pressure function on the shower head is just the "perfect" higher pressure. I am just worried that our water bill will increase drastically because of the longer showers we are taking.”
