“This is the best shower head I have ever been privileged to indulge myself with. I bought this and amazing isn't saying enough about it. It has two adjustable speeds and both are a different but, equally as pleasant slice of heaven. One mode gently trickles rain drops all over your body. The other mode is a little more forceful but is very massage like in its demeanor. I adore the way this shower head feels to my senses and every shower is exotic and romantic, even if it’s just me by myself. I can't help but climatically moan out in ecstasy like that lady in the herbal essence commercials every time I wash my body under this seducing drizzle-tastic machine of emotions. I cannot express in words how worth the money this is and oh, I forgot to mention because of my lucid fantasy day dream while describing this metal miracle that it is as durable and well-made as it is deliciously decorative. This has a lifetime warranty and is well worth the money. Did I mention the self-cleaning rubber nozzles? Oh, in deed it absolutely does feature these wonderful, zero maintenance gadgets. Also it is very easy to install. Just a few spins around the ol' water spout and in no time, you will be showering in bliss for years to come!”
“I love this product so much that I bought two of them. One for the Master Bedroom shower and one for an upstairs guest room shower. The one in the master shower is what influenced me to purchase the second one. Unfortunately, there is one caveat, which has nothing to do with Moen or the quality of this particular product. But...... Potential buyers should be aware, that apparently because we installed the second shower head in an UPSTAIRS bathroom, the water pressure is dimisnished a great deal. I know this because I can compare the two. Downstairs excellent, upstairs, not so hot. Had I known this, I would have probably kept the previous (less expensive) showerhead, rather than upgrade to this model.”
“I am so happy with this purchase. When I remodeled my bathroom, I really wanted a larger showerhead, but was hesitant of rainfall ones thinking it wouldn't have enough pressure. But this one is great. I did remove the water flow restrictor (?) from the head before installation, and am very happy with it. I'm sure it would be fine with it in, I just want all the pressure I can get. I've been using it for 5 months and VERY happy with it!”
“I love Moen products! Have a lot of them around my house and have always been satisfied so when it came time to replace a shower head in my mother's new home I bought her one of these and decided that I would update my own. I installed this myself and thought I was going to be really excited about the large flow and would use the center flow only occasionly. I was also a bit concerned about the selector on the side. Turns out that now I've been living with it for 3 months I only use the center spray but when I use the selector it is easy as can be. This is a very heavy unit but I used the Delta extension arm and it fits beautifully. I didn't need the extension when I installed it at my mother's house but she loves it as much as I do. I highly recommend this shower head.”
“Reviewing shower heads is tough because opinions are subjective and people really like different things. I feel comfortable giving this 5 stars though, because I bought it 6 months ago and never regretted it. Here's the scoop: This is a lovely showerhead in every respect, and provides good water flow rate, even without any modification. It is a rainfall style, so it is a full array of little jets that feel like a heavy rain, but it is NOT a high-powered spray. That's the matter of preference. I truly like both styles, but I think I prefer the rainfall style for daily use, as it's more relaxing and comfortable. It also provides enough water coverage to reasonable wet two people showering at once, a thing I care a lot about. If you are looking for a high powered jet, like many old hotels use, this is NOT the showerhead you want. But if you want a more spa-like drenching rain style, then THIS is a good option. I haven't had issues with jet clogging yet, though once a month or so I have to flick my finger across a silicone jet to "reset" it. This is typical of any small opening and hard water. I am using a cheap delta shower arm extender to bring the showerhead farther out into the shower so I can stand mostly under it. This is a great setup! I imagine that if you are not using an extension arm, the power might not be enough to launch far out into the shower area adequately. Again, that is just the type of shower head this is designed to be.”
“Another classic case of "you get what you pay for". Even at plumbingsupplyandmore deeply discounted price (vs manufacturer's retail), this is a pretty expensive shower head .. but worth every penny. For those of you with scars or sensitive skin, who prefer more gentle water flow, the shower head right out of the box will do just fine. For folks like me, who prefer an invigorating shower, the water limiter piece had to come out .. and with it out, this head really performs in the full rain shower mode! Some may prefer the alternate mode, which restricts water flow through less ports and increases velocity; I do not. Now, for my environmentalist friends, please note that I do not dwell in the shower .. I get in, scrub, rinse and get out .. don't even spend any extra time washing hair (no hair), so even at the unlimited flow rate I would estimate that the aggregate amount of water I use per shower would not quite fill up 1/3 - 1/2 a bathtub if that .. so just chill. I bought the oil rubbed bronze version of this product, which is a couple of shades lighter than the existing Delta ORB valve and head - for those similarly situated. Also note that the head is threaded on the inside and outside, so take some care with your channel locks otherwise (like me) you will scrape some of the ORB finish off the outer threads when you grip them to tighten (easily enough covered over with permanent marker though).”
“I purchased this showerhead after reading reviews of many a showerhead. I've now used it for a couple of days and like it. The rain mode is interesting as I can't say I've ever experienced anything like it before. It takes a little getting used to as for someone who does not know what this is, they will think that there is not sufficient pressure. However, I'm sure that after a few minutes, they will realize that this is soft 'Rain' mode. I hope this lasts a while as I'm getting tired of changing the Waterpik shower every few years. The strange part about those is that they just stop working all of sudden.”
