“I didn't take out the green thingy, if I want a more forceful spy I just switch the little lever and it gives it a more concentrated stream. Very nice.”
“Nice finish. We like having the two spray settings. The high pressure setting is not bad for rinsing hair. The low pressure, wider, rainfall setting is best for a relaxing feeling of warm rain falling, not really what you use every day.”
“We purchased this shower head with hopes of having a sort of "rain shower" in our newly remodeled bathroom. It seems to work well, although I wouldn't call it a "rain shower". It's really a basic shower head that can give you a wide spray or a narrow spray. There are only 2 options. I am still very happy with this product. When we did our remodel, we purchased all new Moen products because our contractor mentioned how great the customer service as well as the warranty. We have yet to have any issues with this item (knock on wood), although we did have an issue with the tub faucet and Moen sent us a new item immediately. I believe we had a new one in 2 days. Great brand, great product.”
“Amazing. Remove the flow restrictor and it's like a spa shower. I used a blowtorch to soften the plastic flow restrictor and popped it out with a screw driver. Only downside is that after a shower there's a lot of water left inside the head that drips for hours.”
“We had a previous Moen rainshower head that was about 1/3rd of the price of this. It worked well, but we had to remove the part that decreased flow to get the pressure we desired. After a while, we got tired of running out of hot water and decided to try something new. This product has been great. I definitely noticed a bit of a decreased flow on the rainshower setting. There is still enough pressure to wash hair, but not by much. When adjusted to the stronger spray, it works similar to any other shower head I've used before. The pressure is great. We purchased in chrome which was quite a bit less than the other finishes and was still in the range I was willing to pay for a showerhead. Would definitely buy again.”
“If you want a shower head that is purely the best, then this is it. The water pressure that comes out is just right for my family and I. I did not remove the water restrictor and I have plenty of water pressure. The two different spray patterns is just what you need when taking a shower. I use the concentrated spray to rinse my hair and the full pattern for the rest of my shower. I did buy a z shaped shower arm to raise the shower head above so we can stand underneath. This is the cat's meow, when taking a shower. I just don't understand why the price for it went up so much.”
