“The price is great and it's a small product, easy to install. It's a direct replacement for the little red pump used in many hydro heating systems. Unfortunately, this is my second one in two years and I noticed another review stating they had short operating life. Longevity is not their strong point. Due to the price though, I'll order another to keep a spare on hand.”
“I bought this as a spare- so I would have the capacitor along with the cartridge later if needed. There are many complaints about them buzzing and not lasting. They buzz if you have trapped air or there isn't enough working pressure -especially if you have more than one floor of your building. The price was great- and it came in perfect condition.”
“it works well -But I have replaced this pump 2 times in 5.5 years which means this is the 3rd pump. I gave 3 stars because I am not sure why they go out. I have a timer - on 0600 off 2230. I saved the last one and plan to take apart and see if I can tell what happened. I am on well water so perhaps minerals are a problem. May not be the pump.”
“After a lot of investigation I ordered this pump for my hot water heating system. It replaced an older pump so it didn't fit without some adjustments but has worked so far. It is bring test now with some very cold weather but I am sure it will work well. Installing it my self saved nearly a thousand dollars.”
“Used to circulate water for a solar hot water system on my roof. It replaces my first TACO pump that lasted about 10 years. After a week of use there are no issues, the design is much like the older model, and my feeling is this offers excellent value. Glad I did not purchase a $200 plus replacement. 5 stars. See you in 10 more years.”
