Replaced one of these on my boiler system. The one I replaced appeared to be ages old, so I was hopeful this identical pump would last a long time. Motor electronics blew out after 3 years of being used only intermittently during a couple months of the year. Hoping the next replacement will last longer.

Worked as it was supposed to but I thought the other half of the flange came with it. They should specify that! I know when I buy a boiler the circ pump comes with ALL the parts in the box.

Haven't installed so I cannot rate other than to say it appears to be just fine. Thus, four in lieu of four stars.

This pump was ordered using the model # off the old pump. I was sent the wrong pump. When I sent the pump back, I explained that on the old pump the housing flanges bolted vertical, with the motor laying horizontal. They apparently don't read the comments and sent the same pump the second time. Instead of screwing with sending it back, I removed the motor and mounted it to the old pump housing which wasn't the greatest, because of corrosion, but it works. The pumps are good pumps but the brains filling the order, are the result of the rating I gave.

This was the perfect replacement for my 27 year old Taco circulator that froze up over the summer. I might have been able to clean the cast iron boiler rust out of the body and just replace the cartridge, but a complete replacement pump was not much more expensive and assured that it would work. I appreciate that this circulator pump included the gaskets so I didn't have to get them at the hardware store.

they do hold up well, wish they made it with built in shut off or remove motor part only, with draining system. I can't have my cake and eat it too

My old boiler pump (same model) died a few days before a bad cold snap where it stayed well below zero for 3 days. I swapped them out and all was warm and cozy again. The quality is solid and replacement was easy. My old one lasted for over 15 years without issue, way up in the Rockies where it runs long and hot.

Brand new item. Included the rubber gaskets. Installation was easy. Simply closed the valve above the pump, drained the boiler, removed and replaced the pump. Then opened the valve back up, let the system fill up and let the air scoop and vent remove any air in the system automatically.
