“Dimensions were the same for the mounting flanges and the height of the impeller housing. New grommets included for the top & bottom flanges. Only about $20 more than the cartridge so I opted to get the whole unit since the motor was pushing over 30 years already. Drained the heating pipes; no shutoffs around the pump so it was a lot more work and water. Put in a plastic curtain around the boiler to minimize water splash on the gas valves and electrical parts. Changed over the electrical connections to the new pump. After replacement and refilling and purging of air from the pipes, unit has been working great.”
