Cartridge Circulator Pump, 50 gpm, 115 VAC Reviews

4.7 Rating 82 Reviews
We purchased this as a replacement pump for our outdoor wood furnace. We use it to heat our grandchildren's above ground swimming pool. It has been a cold and rainy Spring and Summer and the kids have been able to enjoy the heated pool no matter how cool the temperature. When the current one quit, they were disappointed that they would not be able to swim, but fortunately, this pump arrived only days after placing the order. Easy to install and they are back to using the pool everyday.

Easy to install. Replaced an old B&G motor and this fit in perfectly and does the job almost silently. This is the second Taco motor I have used.

Purchased as spares, after a failure at my son's house, my system have 6 zones about 10 years old, I figured it would be a good investment, to have a back-up on hand

I have a multi-zone + hot-water heating system with 2 pumps. I had to replace the other one a few years back, was $500 for the pump. This pump is more basic, it turns on with the furnace, where the other has thermostat control.

I liked most that it worked. I liked least that the flanges were off 90 degrees from what I thought I ordered. - A dilemma I resolved by turning the fittings on the shut-offs my furnace guy had the foresight to install on each side of my pumps. [ If you don't have them, install shut-offs when you replace the pump this time. I can't imagine the headache you'd get having to drain and refill your system. ]

I had this model pump on my boiler, and my original pump lasted 9 plus years. When my circulating pump went out, I realized the local vendors that sell these do not sell them to general public due to local city ordinances. As a result, I had to call my heating and cooling guy to essentially bolt my new pump on and wire it. I purchased this unit as a spare so that I would never have to get an expensive bill for such a simple repair. This pump truly is a simple bolt on install provided mounting flanges are in place. The pump does not come with mating flanges, and those have to be purchased separately if needed. The newer pump I had installed looked identical to the one it replaced. Hopefully, the reliability remains the same.

Exact replacement of my old Taco 007-F5 circulator it even came with new gaskets. I removed my old circulator and the new one bolted up right in place of the existing one with no modifications. I wired it up and turned on my furnace and after my furnace heated up, the circulator turned on and worked perfectly. The new circulator is also very quite. Overall great product, I would definitely recommend purchasing this unit if your old one goes bad or if your looking for a new circulator to use on your furnace installation.
