“The filter is generally fine and it is what we always use. We obtain a new one every year.However the packaging is torn at both ends and one end exposes the filter entirely so anything in the del. truck or plane (during transport) could essentially contaminate the filter. However it is not a sterile item so this probably isn't too important. The outer box for this filter is made of very cheap cardboard. The company should look into providing a sturdy shipping box. I've become accustomed to a torn box but the one today is quite bad.”
“It does what its suppose to do, filter out dust going to the furnace, but the house has a lot, a lot, a lot of dust in the air. So the reason we originally purchased the device this fits into was a waste of money.”
“These are excellent filters. This is the second time I've ordered a multi-pack, as it is cheaper to buy these in bulk and much cheaper than paying an HVAC company to replace the filter. Four stars because when I opened the box there were only three, rather than four filters. Called Aprilaire and they said they would send another filter - that was good customer service.”
“These filters are great. Very easy to install, as cheap on plumbingsupplyandmore as anywhere I've found... but the box was smashed in on one end. I think the filter is ok, but at nearly $50 each, please ship more gently.”
