“The product itself is fine and the pricing on plumbingsupplyandmore is fair. The problem is with the way plumbingsupplyandmore ships the product. plumbingsupplyandmore merely slaps a shipping label on the manufacturer's packaging box. The manufacturers box is very flimsy and not intended for shipping. The boxes are torn and/or missing end flaps, but fortunately I've experienced only the slightest damage to the filter itself not impacting usability. I have ordered these from plumbingsupplyandmore multiple occasions and plumbingsupplyandmore ships the same way each time. If you search the reviews you'll find other reviews that mention the same issue. plumbingsupplyandmore really needs to pack these filters in a separate box.”
“I wish we had stayed with the regular, cheap filters that are in the walls and ceilings that you replace every month.We have 2 HVACs with a single, whole house filter per unit.We have to change them more frequently than the advertised 6+ months because of the sour smell when we switch from cool to heat, and then back again.At $45 per filter Xs 2 units Xs 2-3 Xs per year...that's a lot of money!Maybe?? the charcoal ones would help with the smell but they are twice as expensive.”
“This review is not about the product, but about the condition in which it was received. The box end had been cut and exposed to the elements, and someone placed a piece of tape over the end. It appears to be a return item. My concern is over the exposure to unhealthy dust items during transit.”
