“I have installed this with contractor and tested last weekend by pulling off the main pump power on a rainy day. Nothing was working, it simply wasting the city water. Either it is not working due to defective piece or it is how this works 🙔
“It was delivered with a cracked component. It sprays water all over my garage. UPDATE: The problem showed up outside plumbingsupplyandmore return deadline. The pump has a 3 year warrant. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they shipped out a new one immediately.”
“I've installed a lot of these and trust my basement with it. Takes a while to install unless you cheat and connect to primary pump discharge. But you'll thank yourself when the power goes out during heavy rain or main pump failure.”
