My previous pressure regulator was failing causing me to have crazy pressure swings... My plumber recommended putting two of these in series to reduce the water coming in two stages.

My existing Watts regulator was failing, making groaning noises. Replaced a 40-year-old 25AUB with this. Fit perfectly. Took 15 mins to install, used Teflon tape and new O-ring. Eliminated noise, no pressure adjustment needed.

Product works great but packaging was poor. Valve moved freely and box was damaged. Risk of bent screw. Would buy from store next time.

This product feels solid and is very well-built. I like the fact that it has two service ports on the bottom to maintain this unit in the future. I like that this unit has a union connector built-in as well.

Replaced our old Watts 25AUB that has a blue tag, from about 1991. This is a direct swap so you won’t have to mess with pipes not lining up as needed. The end with a coupler obviously doesn’t need anything on the threads. I highly recommend using Teflon tape. After rewrapping heavily, it stopped dripping.

The manufacturer’s box was loosely taped with scotch tape and even that was ripped. The next thing I noticed was there were signs that this item had already been used as there were metal shavings on both ends as if someone forced a fitting in the ends. This was all confirmed by the fact that the threads were marred. The replacement valve is new and in an unopened box...installed without any problems and does not leak.

Really great heavy duty prv which sorted my problem of low flow rates and bad drops when under load. Installed without ptfe tape on inlet, but ended up with a weeping joint, so took apart and redid using ptfe tape and now works great. My flow rates doubled when i put this in.

Installed myself in about an hour. Needed careful tightening to avoid leaks.
