“It does the job but compared to a different brand I purchased previously I’m not a fan. The install was unnecessarily difficult as you have to hold the garbage disposal up while anchoring it where my previous one had a part that tightened as soon as you reconnected the pieces so it stood by itself. Also, my previous one did not require plumbers putty, so I wasn’t prepared for that in advance. It does the job, so I didn’t return it, but I would not buy this particular one again.”
“The rubber mouth piece is designed with a flaw, The water does not drain fast enough, the small holes/opening around the rim collect debris and pieces of garbage”
“I decided against the more noise-padded model due to tight space under the sink, but find the noise is coming from the drain, not below the sink where the padding would have been. Not a deal-breaker, since we don't run it for long, but surprised that it's louder than our 25-year-old InSinkerator (which looks like a low-end model).”
“The install was pretty straightforward and the instructions easy to read. But the unit doesn’t include a grommet for hard wiring. It also doesn’t include plumbers rope for putting on the sink side of the drain flange. Seems like these would be very cheap things and their lack of inclusion can only be chalked up to ineptitude. Seems like a quality product otherwise but only time will tell on that part.”
“This is exact Model is close to $130 at plumbingsupplyandmore. The only other place u can get a good Disposal for about $100 is Costco.Product was super easy to install Just looked at a few youtube videos. Make sure when u install your Dishwasher vent line that u remove the plastic cover that comes pre installed (I made that mistake)”
