How can the thermostat not have an auto setting, to automatically switch between air-conditioning and heat? This is the 21st century what is going on? Either it's on heat and cool, so you either wake up freezing cold at night or burning hot in the middle of the day because it doesn't automatically switch.

I use this product in a rental where I can lock out the tenant on settings for too low for an AC unit. Only allowing a low temp of 72 degrees. Easy to program, nice sleek design, easy to read numbers.

Had a PeakSaver Plus which was touchscreen and allowed you to choose any days in combination to program together. This only allows Mon-Fri together and Sat & Sun individually. Who designs this garbage? Who sets Friday night the same as the rest of the weekdays? There should be more customization allowed. There is also no Circ option which the last thermostat had. It’s definitely a downgrade but the HVAC installer said the PeakSaver wouldn’t work with the new furnace. In this day all thermostats should have WiFi and/or Bluetooth connectivity. Some reviewers mentioned remote access through an app. I don’t believe that is an option.

Using this for 2 years on my main heating zone and like it. I have it set for different temps for weekdays vs weekends (5-2), and a couple degrees cooler at night. It has learned to bring the boiler on about a half hour before returning to my higher morning temp. When we go away for a longer period like a vacation, it's easy to set it to hold a lower permanent temp.
