“The integrated shutoff valve made it easy to replace a broken gate valve on the cold water side of my water heater. Just cut, slip on, and snug up the nut. The ball valve is much better than the old gate valve. No soldering or special tools required.”
“I, unfortunately, didn’t end up using this hose due to the valve. My water heater was on a shelf and needed a loop in the hose to connect. The valve made it kink. I swapped for one without a valve, and it worked great. Used another valve-less hose on the return side with a SharkBite elbow. Super easy. You must get the SharkBite pipe end tool to prep and mark connection depth—it’s vital. And also grab the horseshoe-shaped removal tool—cheap but invaluable. Would definitely use again.”
