This is an awesome piece of ingenuity to help out the homeowner. Cut pipe, get smooth end, push it on the pipe and that's it. Screw other end into the tank and you're done. No soldering, gluing, or taping fittings. Love it.

Installed water heater in less than 3hrs, using these. It was great not having to solder pipes and I would have had to reposition copper pipes. Replaced heater was 18yrs old. And I'm not a licensed plumber.

This is truly the easiest plumbing connection on the planet. Used for my water heater inside the house. Make sure your pipe cut is clean. Use 400-600 sandpaper to clean copper. Press firmly. You can still add insulation to the pipe.

Very simple product to use. Simply cut old pipe (with water turned off), clean the edge of burrs and slide on. That’s it. Works perfectly. I used this and one without spicket to install a new water heater. No drip, no fuss, no soldering.

SharkBite works great. Make sure to leave enough space between pipe joints and couplers to install the removal tool before installing the bites or you'll go mad trying to get it off. Don’t think you won’t need to remove them either. What if they leak a little and need to be adjusted.

Went on easy, so far no leaks. Shut off worked. Only been on the pipe a month, hopefully it lasts 10+ years.
