“So much easier to install than a solder fitting. Took care to clean ends of pipe and sand them smooth. The valve slipped right on and hasn’t leaked. Been on for about a month now. This is definitely the way to go if you’re not experienced soldering pipes. You do need to have some wiggle room with the pipe as the two ends need to be pulled an inch or so further apart than the 3 inch gap in order to slip the pipe into the end of the valve. I had enough wiggle so it worked out fine.”
