The pump works, but the check valve inside fails.

I like this Taco 007. But, I have a question. How can the entire pump cost [$], and to replace only the cartridge cost $55?

Great pump, exact replacement for 18 year old home boiler. I'm sure it won't be replaced again in my life time.

Great deal for the money. Had to replace one a few months later and could not get any help from plumbingsupplyandmore on how to return for warranty and contacted Taco and asked for a receipt and they wouldn't accept a screenshot.

Get a plumber and easily spend 500 and up for replacing a pump. Do it yourself and cut that in half.

The unit was replaced in a very short time. Receiving the product the next day was great.

Dead simple installation. One of my old Taco pumps finally gave out after 25 years of service (short life huh?). Replaced both with the IFC flavor and I didn't think they'd be so quiet. I have to touch one to know it's actually on. Very happy with it.**just don't use the flange-shaped gaskets you can buy for this style pump. Only use the flat o-rings that ship in the box, otherwise you'll develop a leak**
