Automatic Condensate Removal Pump with Safety Switch, 65 gph Reviews

I replaced a 20 year old pump for my furnace/ AC unit. This was the same size and fit nicely. It is well built, runs quietly, and has good pumping strength. The only problem is the check valve doesn’t work. The description listed online states it has a built in check valve and shows a black colored 3/8” barb but my product arrived with a white color barb and no check valve. Funny enough, plumbingsupplyandmore shows a $6 check valve as a commonly purchased product for people who buy this pump.

Pretty basic pump. Just as I expected, no surprises. It only included one cap for empty portal hole. I could have used a couple more to keep debris out of the unit. That's my only complaint.

Pump came quickly, next day as promised when my original little giant pump died after about 10 years of use. Heat continued to operate despite the condensate pump not working so I had quite a bit of water on the floor in basement by the time I noticed the old pump wasn't operating. My gas furnace, A/C and dehumidifier are in basement and this unit pumps up condensate water to ground level. Easily wires to your existing furnace and also needs a110 AC outlet. This unit was an exact replacement so all drains lined up and the safety was easy to wire. Once installed, back to normal and I picked up an extra unit to add to my key spare items that I keep on hand.

I am a recent widow. So, I had to reach deep inside me to get the courage to do my own home repairs. I found honey do issues that he left undone. I had originally ordered 1 with safety switch accidentally. I ordered the right part with next day delivery. I quickly installed and ran the drain line to my shower in the basement since I actually needed about 6-8 more feet to run to drain. It works fine, my basements dry and I couldn't be happier. In fact my HVAC seems to be working better. Thanks lLittle Giant for accepting my return and building my confidence in myself by having such an easy install. I had to buy the proper part in order to fix my issue with a leak that was keeping my floor wet. I didn't have time to waste on exchange, therefore, I had forked out the dough for both parts, prayin I get a full refund. Accept my apologies for delay in return. I lost my hubby who took care of all of these things for me.

Always had issues with condensation in summer and tripping over the hose that runs across the basement floor to the drain from my furnace. Omg so easy to install. I had hose run up and across the ceiling of the basement and run to the washer drain in 10 minutes. In 30 I had the AC running and reducing the high humidity in here. I used a big cup and poured into the reservoir before turning on the AC and plugging in this. Have to run the in pipe at an angle for it to work the float. But that was no issue. I have it straight down and the last foot at a slight angle and she's working like a dream. I'm ready for summer weather. It also has 3 inlets. So I'm getting a new dehumidifier and installing it next to the furnace so I can run hose from it to this pump and won't have to worry if dehumidifier is full cuz it will get pumped out. Not sure why I didn't do this sooner but this is my first house and I'm still learning even after 7 years here. It's so quiet I never hear it.

I was able to replace the failed pump with an exact fit pump. The original had failed after only five years. This has been operating well for about a month. If it is plumbed correctly, it takes less than a minute to replace.

My HVAC installed this about 10 years ago for my AC. I didn't properly maintain it, so it got all dirty inside and the pump stop working. So I bought a new one.

A perfect condensate pump for my furnace! Just stick the output tube from the furnace into the pump, then attach the waste pump to the unit. Run the waste tube to a drain or sink and your done. The unit acts like a sump pump. When water inside reaches a specific level, the float switch kicks in and runs the unit. As soon as the water is drained the units goes back into standby mode.No issues so far after three months.
