“We have received our coffee pods as we are trying to be more environmentally friendly. However we have tried numerous types of coffee beans and the coffee comes out so weak it tastes just like drinking milk. we are very disappointed that the pods are not working like we would like them to.”
“Really like the PodStar. It has a much better design than the pods Amazon is selling for Verismo / KFee machines. I also really was pleasantly surprised to get a sample of stone ground coffee with the pods. This was GREAT because I was able to quickly identify the proper setting on my ceramic burr grinder. Now I am getting a proper balanced pour with excellent flavor. If you live in the U.S., it will take a few weeks to arrive so plan for that. Our USPS service has really slowed down in the last year or so so the delivery is not likely to be a swift one. This is not under control of PodStar so I gave them the full 5 stars as I am really happy to be able to stop tossing pods and I can get better bean blends now, Fantastic!”
“I really wanted this to be the solution to throwing away the store purchased Pods. Unfortunately you need to have 2 of these reusable SS pods to make a good coffee. 1 just doesn't cut it..... far too weak. So the company needs to be upfront and tell the prospective buyer that..... otherwise you'll be writing a review like this.
The good part of the product - they are well made, a quality finish.
I note from the marketing that there seems to be a push for '2 pods in a pack'.... without actually saying you need 2 for 1 decent cup of coffee. I saw these ads and seeing as i'm the only coffee drinker in the family couldn't justify the purchase of a 2 pack for just me.”
