“Fascinating book showing all the planes the allies captured and process of logging the details. It also tells you the fate of the planes and the sad fact that some of the rare prototypes and a lot of the others were just scrapped in the late 40/50s and some exhibited today have lost a lot of the airframes like the engines and wings. Unfortunately this process is still happening these days as the people in charge can't seem to realise that once it's gone just pictures are not the same as having the actual thing to look at such as the 1 of only 2 Beverley aircraft in existence was scrapped at the air museum at Hendon to make space for a play area!”
