“Bought these grips to upgrade my PowerBlock Pro EXPs. Installation was a 5-minute breeze, loved that PowerBlock included a reusable thing of Loctite in the package. The only tool a buyer needs is a 3/16th allen wrench. Immediate improvement in feel and aesthetic.
Knurling is good: not too aggressive, not too light. Very comparable to a Rogue Ohio Bar level of knurl.
Weight: they do weigh slightly more than the standard grips. One of my base handles with adder weights removed weighed 7.809lbs with the stock grip, and 8.463lbs once I installed the knurled grip. The other handle weighed 8.485lbs after I installed the knurled grip, so expect about a .6lb increase per handle, with very good tolerances.
Once installed, the grips don't rotate at all and feel like they're the same thickness as normal dumbells or barbells. These are a great improvement to PowerBlock dumbbells, made by the original manufacturer, and way cheaper than third-party alternatives. Worth the upgrade!”
