“The bar itself is well made and I like the knurling on the handles and how solid the weight and bar fit together. That said, the bar itself is relatively narrow (at 6'3, the bar is barely wide enough for me to take a wider-than-shoulder grip) and the weights are not balanced to the bar (the weights with 80lbs a side) want to tilt forward. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone wanting to use it for a front/back squat. It is still a good complementary tool.”
“I thoroughly enjoy my new USA Elite Series Straight bar. The knurl on it is fantastic. I can’t give the bar 5 stars because it didn’t immediately turn me into a macho man, but overall I am extremely happy with it.”
“The bar is solid, meaning is the real thing for a 66 inch tall manly man. I have used it a couple times and can’t wait to see my muscle growth. The material used in s strong; however use it with prudence and like everything maintain. I recommend it without any reservation.”
“It is very nice to have this equipment added to my dumbbells! Now, I can go back and forth with the straight bar and dumbbells and have a dynamic workout. I've been waiting for Powerblocks to come out with a straight bar for the elite USA dumbbells, and it was worth the wait! Recommend this straight bar!”
“Metal was a bit morphed on one side. Needed to get a wrench which I didn't have at first. But I LOVE using it now that I have it! So glad it can merge with my already-owned powerblocks. A new means of working out is not open to me! I love this bar!”
“Ingenius design which is compatible with my legacy PowerBlock Elite 90. I'm a smaller person, so the bar width is suitable for most exercises. I'm using the Straight Bar to aid in my rehabilitation from a recent fractured C2 vertebrae and it's allowed me to work may way up from really light weight push-pull exercise to heavy lifts.”
