SportBench Ab Attachment Reviews

3.3 Rating 3 Reviews
This attachment is fairly easy to put on and take off. The angle of the leg supports is awkward and makes it hard to completely lay back on the bench to do a sit up. Don't know if I will be using it that much with the awkward leg position. We have tried it on several levels and they are all awkward. So, I don't think this one is worth the cost.

This attachment works great, and is only slightly uncomfortable under my knees. While that specific cushion could probably be a bit more squishy, I feel like I should be able to adapt to the discomfort after enough usage.

The Ab Attachment only works with the bench in an incline position. The Ab Attachment does not have the most secure connection possible. The Sport Bench this is designed for is a three-point bench and is not the most stable configuration for a bench, and becomes most noticeable when the bench is inclined, and trying to get into or out of the Ab Attachment. That said, there are three things PowerBlock can improve. 1. Don't use a plastic handle on a bolt to secure the attachment to the bench top tube. A spring-loaded bolt on the bench tube and bolt detent on the Ab Attachment are much more reliable and secure. 2. Make the Ab Attachment usable while the bench is in a flat position. 3. Use on a stable platform rather than a bench with a single foot.
