Looks sturdy enough but finish not a patch on my original Bulldog fork (which was nearly 40 years old and 'walked' from my garden last year!). Casting not wrapped around shaft as completely as original and handle not finished off properly. I had to smooth it with glass paper to get rid of the splinters.

Good, robust, well made garden fork. None of the prongs bent yet - which is why I bought it.

I bought this mostly because I wanted a fork that didn't bend at the slightest digging. This has survived digging up my old lawn. However, one of the tines is slighlty out of alignment to the others. I hope this won't get any worse and is simply a manufactoring defect. I was also looking to buy British. I understand that Bulldog are British owned, but that the tools are now made in India. At least most of the money stays in Britain. It seems well built. Sticky clay soil comes off easily enough (far more easily than the stainless fork from Wilco it replaced). It could be a bit longer - it feels a bit short. I'm only 175cm tall. If you are taller then I suggest you look at the longer version. Overall I am happy so far.
