“Each product page states that customers can have the item out for delivery within 3 working days by ordering before 12pm. I ordered two items before 8am and they weren't even dispatched until a week later, despite me paying for expedited delivery and handling. Their delivery page at https://www.powertoolsdirect.com/delivery states it's a 2-3 working day service when you choose express delivery, but that's also a lie. On the aforementioned delivery page, they cannot guarantee the delivery time, but this isn't actually brought to the buyers attention during the contract of sale; no reasonable notice is given to the customer, no links to the delivery page are given on the item's product page, or during the checkout stage.”

“Plenty of communication from Power Tools Direct so I knew when to expect my parcel. It took 4 days. For a small item the delivery charge of £5.95 doubled the price of what I ordered, although the original price was good. Unfortunately the parcel must have got battered during it's 4 days with Royal Mail and the weedkiller box was damaged, damp and discoloured. The outer packaging was not damaged so the only liquid inside must be the weedkiller. Royal Mail is not a suitable courier for this hazardous product. Otherwise all good.”

“It’s hard to call yet but my order has still not arrived. The amount of post you charge for a small item I thought it would be the next working day. If it’s not here by the end of the week you can refund me in full. Not happy right now”

“Order was placed 5 days ago, and I am still waiting delivery, I have tried to call the company "Power Tools Direct", by phone, only to receive a recorded massage, "We do not have an active telephone line", I have also email them twice and still waiting response. I will need to purchase this equipment else where as it is needed for a job. I wish I have paid extra and purchased locally.”

“I urgently needed 720 screws for a roofing job and placed my order with Power Tools Direct. As there was urgency I paid the extra postage fee for next day delivery. The screws did not arrive and after multiple emails PTD managed to deliver them to me SIX DAYS after I had placed my order. VERY POOR service. PTD do not have a contactable phone number and their customer service is extremely slow and long winded. If you are looking for a trustworthy, reliable provider for your purchases then Power Tool Direct are not for you. A well deserved ONE STAR.”
