AVOID!!!!! Absolutely shocking company to deal with, ordered some drill bits and paid for express delivery, had no notifications after 5 days saying they’d been dispatched or anything then got an email saying something about credit which you can’t understand and also no credit has been received, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL!

Order was delayed....endlessly into a future mist. There was no "out of stock" notice on their website. Paid for expedited. I had to enquire after 4 days. They notified me that the supplier was having delays...meaning it was not in stock. Follow up email was just a cut and paste repeat job. Phone rings off the hook. Just poor communication. I'm on a job and I need to know when stuff is coming. Still no idea. Put in for a refund. No apologies. I picture in my mind's eye some mythical old crone running this place, lurking in some dusty small warehouse with an abacus and a box of lozenges.

Avoid this company. I place and order in early December, now its February, I'm still haven't receive full order . They contact me twice , that there will be a delivery and deliver just some items . I left numerous voicemails( as they never answer the phone). I left emails , and onsite messages no reply.

Sent me the wrong item and now cannot get hold of them phone or e mail. Not sure if this normal for this company but I won’t be using them again and suggest other avoid.

Firstly that item took a week to be delivered with no update on it's progress. The item was damaged because it was badly packed and bent. ( Shaft of the lopper). Nobody answered the phone at all, even though I made numerous attempts and left a message. I emailed, and automated message to say they are busy. A week later they emailed asking for photos and descriptions of damage. Awful customer relations and I wouldn't use them again. I thought this will go on for weeks so I made a repair myself and put up with what I received. Not happy.

I ordered dewalt toolbox nearly week ago. Not received yet. I rang them so many times no answer. I emailed them twice no reply. Not sure if the company is legit

I was trying to order a 5m airline hose, that is pictured, not surprisingly, coiled up, sort of like a hose. When I got to the checkout to part it asked me to pay £14.95 because it was a "Long Length Parcel" - so implying that they would ship it unrolled as a 5m long "stick". So, I tried to email to clarify, no response, have now tried calling them 5 times, just goes to answerphone every time and no one calls back. So, perhaps they are great, but pre sales has been just a pure waste of time for me - wanted to order for next day delivery, and now too late to get from anyone else, but paying £14.95 delivery on a £23 hose seems a bit mad.

item ordered and delivered, unfortuneatly it was broken. Contacted Power Tools and was asked if I wanted money back or a new item , which I choose , came safely this time but still packaged the same way as the initial delivery.

DO NOT RISK DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE They seem to be an old fashioned stockist who are trying to get into online trading BUT THEY ARE MAKING A REAL MESS OF IT. Like so many others, they banked my payment immediately, charged a premium for 2-3 day delivery, failed to explain/apologise for the failure to deliver even remotely on time, and then refused to refund (falsely obtained) excess shipping cost. Luckily for them, as I was buying a top UK brand, I did not bother to read the reviews or else I would not have wasted my time buying from them.

Absolutely shocking customer service! I ordered a plastering trowel and it arrived damaged. the corner is bent. The telephone number provided on power tools direct must be a dead line because no one ever answers I’ve tried to call them at least 50 times and everytime it goes to voicemail I have left a voicemail I have also emailed them but still no reply absolutely disgusting I do not recommend stay well clear

Ive used power tools direct a few times now. Each time ive been ordering screws, and each time ive paid for express delivery. It tell me ill get them within 3 days but its always been over a week late. which this time around has caused me to spend more money and be stuck with extra screws i dont need. very poor service.

I placed an order over a week ago of a pair of Helley Hansen kelvin XL Boots, I received confirmation of my order but have heard nothing since, I have tried to contact power tools direct on a number of occasions but still no reply. I would certainly think twice about ordering from this company.

Placed my order on the 9th of January and paid for express delivery. I waited two extra days past the latest expected date and still didn’t receive my order. I had to contact the sales team about it and requested a refund for the express postage I paid. They didn’t refund me and instead sent the order the next day, with one item missing and screws placed in an envelope instead of the original box. Terrible experience.
