“Ordered a right angle tap hose connector paid £6.99 for express delivery and it took over a week to arrive. Did contact customer service and spoke to a lovely lady and she explained that they were waiting for stock to be delivered to them but why express delivery if they're not in stock”

“I ordered from them as their delivery date was the quickest if I paid extra for express delivery. They didn’t even ship until after the proposed delivery date causing me issues on site. I raised this with customer service and was told I should have read the Ts and Cs and that delivery was always estimated. They were that blunt. The express delivery just speeds it up after it has been dispatched. No apology, no offer of part refund even for the delivery portion. My response was to say that the dismissive response was totally unacceptable and they just ignored me. Worst customer service I’ve had during an 18 month build process.”

“Their website says it offers next day courier delivery and telephone customer service. I made my order 7 days ago and it's still "processing". Tried calling them and there's just an automated message saying the phone line doesnt work. Reading the reviews below, I can see that (very) late delivery is a widespread problem with this business.”

“Order an item and paid for the express delivery as needed it quickly. A week later it still hadn’t been dispatched, tried calling the contact number but an automated reply states the number isn’t in use so had to email them. Received an automated response stating if the email is about and order they are delayed due to staff shortages. Later I got an actual reply this time blaming no stock and that some should be arriving in a few days! The fact that the website makes no mention of products being out of stock and there being zero contact from them regarding this until I asked where my order was is extremely poor customer service!!!! Looking at all the latest reviews it’s clear this is a widespread issue yet their website still makes no mention of this and gives delivery dates that are clearly going to be missed!!!!”

“Offered qick delivery which i chose but turned out there was no stock. Got the product eventually which was delivered quickly but later than anticipated due to no stock at time of ordering. Still charged the extra! Tried ringing but no telephone service so had to complain by email but got a very curt reply. I won't be using your company again, ever!”

“I made an order online and it was marked as in stock and payment was taken. A few days later the order was cancelled and said it was out of stock and it could not be fulfilled. The item was a DeWalt drill set and it was a lot cheaper than the other websites. I suspect it may have been a pricing error but rather than admit to it - I just received an item not in stock email and a refund.”

“Totally unacceptable delivery. Item was due on the 2nd and here I am on the 6th and still no sign of the delivery. Delivery company is letting the side down - choose another one. No one to speak regarding ETA or a delivery refund. Apparently the item has been in their depot for Four Days. Reluctant to order for Powertools direct if they continue to use DX delivery”

“Having paid for express delivery it still took a week to arrive. The item was poorly packaged and looked like it had been kicked around a football pitch. Luckily the item survived its ordeal and works correctly but not the service I would expect.”

“CANNOT SCORE NO STARS OR I WOILD HAVE. NO COMMUNICATIONS OF WHEN GOODS WIL BE RECIEVED. TELEPHONE NUMBER ON WEBSITE TELLS YOU THEY HAVE NO TELEPHONE ACCESS. TOOK FIVE EMAILS TO GET A RESPONSE. WIL NOT BE USING AGAIN”

“Items never arrived. Can't get a refund and nobody responding to my enquiries. Courier company tracking does not work and they claim to of attempted delivery when they clearly hadn't. Think this could be a scam”

“Put in an urgent order thinking it will be here by the weekend, nothing, tried email and calling (which they have disconnected, why bother listing it) haven’t heard back since? Is this a legitimate company? Very poor service.”

“Poor service. Was not dispatched for 8 days. If a customer had to pay for 48 hour delivery they expect it to be dispatched immediately. No phone lines and did not reply to 3 emails until conveniently the day it was delivered. I will never buy again.”
