I ordered 3 small items totalling £9.90. Pots of craft paint. They charged me £7.95 express delivery, which was the only option? Goods were promised 2 days ago. Still no sign of my order. I will never use them again. I will also spread the word Applying for a full refund

I ordered a Clarke 1100 Jump Start device which we needed urgently & Power Tools Direct offered next day delivery via FedEx. The order was placed at 09:11am on Wed the 20th Nov & I paid £8.95 for the FedEx Express Parcel service but the item wasn't delivered the next day, nor the next day. It wasn't until Sat the 23rd Nov that I received an email with the FedEx tracking number so I send a cancellation request as we'd already bought the same item from another supplier. On Mon the 25th Nov I received an email to say that the item had already been shipped but when I checked the tracking number FedEx showed it as not yet received so I contacted FedEx & told them I wouldn't accept the parcel. Today, Tues the 3rd Dec I received a refund for the item but not a refund for the FedEx Express delivery charge so I've been charged for a delivery that never took place. I'm a director & company secretary & the company will not do business with Power Tools Direct

Rip off company. Purchased two items showing in stock they send me one and an email to refund the second. But they charge me £5.99 for postage, no way would I order one item very small item for £5.99 postage. After contact they claimed they would refund the postage, had to wait for that to happen. I had to place a second order pay postage to get the missing item elsewhere, so I waited longer for my items and this delayed the job My items were only small, fit in a small jiffy bag and delivered by Royal mail 48. What makes it worse is the item they did not send was still online to buy and showing in stock. Disgrace cost me time and money.

Ordered two items and paid £5.99 for postage, I thought postage was a little expensive when it arrived by Royal Mail 48 which was not £5.99, but to make matters worse they sent one item and an email to say the second was out of stock, it was still showing in stock after this happened so they are selling items they know are out of stock. No way would I of ordered the one item with a postage charge of £5.99, they did say they would refund me the postage but that did not happen, they only refunded the missing item. I have now had to place an order elsewhere to get the second item and pay for postage, so this company has cost me money and wasted my time. I would not recommend ordering from them .

Don't bother ordering from this company i have paid £8.95 next day delivery on my order on the 15th Nov and i still haven't received my order they are a joke they don't answer emails or the customer service number if i could give them no stars i would

A review was invited so here it is. Express delivery - over £10 took 8 days - much too long. Silicone was old and no nozzles supplied as per the illustration. No answer on phone. Have send an email requesting rectification and will update review if matter is satisfactorily resolved

ordered screws for a job lots of ! £500 plus , said 2-3 day delivery , week later nothing , called went to voicemail , emailed customer service been quicker to post it ! lack of communication and speed of replying is very poor ! had to order from another company as need to jet job done !

I expected the goods I ordered on Monday & Tuesday and the latest but they did not arrive until the Wednesday - caused us problems to get a job done - so very dissapointed!

Ordered 3 items and paid for express delivery. Sent emails. 7 days later package out for delivery. All items arrived damaged as packaging consisted of winding black bin liner roll around them. Sharp edges had perforated packaging. All handles had perforated packaging and were damaged. Contacted them. Asked to supply photos of damage to packaging, goods and how items were packed in box. Bit difficult when there is no box!! Did I want a refund or replacement. Requested replacement. Received returns label but then I have to package items safely and arrange a day to wait for the courier to collect. Received an email saying that I have received a refund. Contacted again to find out why no replacement as items in stock. Returns department did not realise I wanted replacements. Easier to press a few keys on a computer than fulfill and repackage my order??? They say they are sorry about what happened and if I still want the goods I can reorder on the website!!! DO NOT THINK SO!

Terrible company. Ordered product over a week ago. Still not turned up or had any response from my efforts to find out what’s going on with the delivery. Not ideal when you pay extra for delivery when you’re relying on the product for a job!! Will Never use again. Recommend you AVOID!!!

terrible service , ordered on 3rd still no delivery on the 9th , held job up , emailled and left messages 4 times , no response , un manned phone rang all day throughout the day , in the end had to order elksewhere and will be claiming refund ,

compressor pump arrived with a damaged pully due to no packaging in the orginal box. telephoned 4 times not answering the phone . I have emailed them and sent pictures no responce. I need a replacement pulley pump is intack. I will be contacting my credit card company.

Express delivery is a con, you won’t get it, all you’ll get is slow delivery and poor communications. Ordered from them 3 times and EVERY time I’ve had to chase them for the order otherwise it just sits as ‘processing’. If you don’t chase it, you simply don’t get it. Recently paid £7.95 for express delivery. They sat on the order for over a week. I chased it, no reply. So I emailed a few days later to say cancel it as I’d now bought elsewhere and they quickly marked it as dispatched and said it was too late. I pointed out I’d paid for express delivery and they just said ‘yeah, sorry’. No offer to refund the express delivery charge for a service I didn’t receive. They’re simply conning people and making money out of excess delivery charges. There are much better and reliable suppliers out there so save yourself the hassle and use them instead of these guys who are just playing at it.
