“For the price this faceplate was acceptable. It is made of cast iron but the hole machined and tapped to attach it to the lathe is not on the centre of the casting so it is a little out of balance but not enough to worry. There is also a slight wobble on the face plate. Perhaps it was stress relieved after machining. I am using it without problems but I thought this was worth recording.”
