“This is the third pump I have had. I use it to draw water from the river for watering the garden. The first pump stoped working just after the guarantee ran out. I thought it might be related due to it being left in the greenhouse over winter. The second pump stopped again when it was needed after the winter. It was emptied and stored in a dry atmosphere over the winter, yet the impeller refused to turn on on startup without a nudge and then stoped for no reason. I'm hopping third time lucky..... if this one again develops the same problem. I'll put it down to a design fault, not enough umph on startup if left to sit for long periods, mayby needs another phase.”

“Works well... but you only get an outlet connector, and its a nightmare trying to find the right size inlet connector... all the sites and even the manual say its a 1"in male... it turns out its a 1.25" male. Quite why Clarkes don't just add one so it works out of the box, is just poor product planning and service. Buying threaded parts is pretty hard.”
