“Of the three tins ordered, 1 was out of date old stock and was pretty useless, I only discovered this after trying to use it, and I ended up throwing this one away. It was full of a lot of fairly solid material, which was dark grey and looked like wax. The other 2 tins worked perfectly well, however, But I am now short of oil to finish the job. After giving such a glowing report on the delivery, I feel a bit peeved that only two thirds of what I ordered was any good. The price to send it back would have cost me more than I was willing to pay. Had I bought in a shop, I could have returned it and got a replacement, but that is not so easy on the net. I will not be dealing with Power Tools Direct again, unless they wish to rectify the situation. I still have the defective tin, and can send photographs etc.. If required. Please advise on best course of action.”
