“This Cuprinol Ultimate Garden Wood Preserver Product seems to be one of the few garden wood treatment products that actually contains wood preservatives rather than just coloration, water repellent additives and UV protection components. It has lasted well for four years on a garden fence treated with the product after first applying a coat of Cuprinol Clear Wood Preserver. I have just re-coated the fence once again with Cuprinol Ultimate Wood Preserver as the first coat was just beginning to break down at the sharp corners of the fence struts. In addition to having a true wood preservative action, the product shows excellent and enduring water repellent properties after drying. Frequent stirring is required to maintain homogeneous colour in the tin during application but this is not really a problem. I can highly recommend this product.”
