“I bought this to lift some turf in order to transfer it to a part of the lawn where the grass was very worn. It came within a few days and l am delighted with it. It is beautifully crafted and finished and the design has made the job so much easier than a previous occasion when l used a spade. I anticipate that it will live up to its name .”

“Heavy so have only used for an hour or so at a time. But worked well in cutting through a dry stony soil. Make sure the turves to be removed are cut not much bigger than the tool and that edges of those turves are cut deeply enough for the turfing iron blade to lift the cut turf cleanly away once loosened”

“Although this tool is very soundly made it is also very blunt. Perhaps my turf is particularly tough but cutting it was very hard work with this tool.”
