“I wanted to plant small fritillary bulbs in grass. I found that the tube got solidly clogged up with earth. To get any force of the tool into the ground required the end of the handle to be pressed into the palm of the hand. This would result in a blister in no time. This tool would only really work in soft ground and the handle would need to be horizontal.”
