“All was delivered which I was pleased with. The mask is advertised as brand new although it was not in its original box so this cannot be confirmed on my end. The mask I have received is from 1994 and if the mask has been out of its box for a while the rubber has possibly been compromised. The mask also came slightly scuffed where it had been knocked around inside the box.”

“Forsheda A4 is a great mask. The problem is that the masks Preppersshop sells were made in 1994. These masks have the useful/shelf life of 25 years. Forsheda does not guarantee the integrity of material and usability of the mask after this period. Preppersshop sells masks that should not be used as gas masks. They are unused but they are not brand new and do not meet anymore all the protective characteristics described on the Preppersshop website. Who would consider as brand new the gas mask that was stored in a Swedish civil protection storehouse for 25 years and after they could not be used anymore were sold to army surplus stores for close to nothing? As a collectible item this is too expensive. But the price is not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that hundreds of Preppersshop customers were deceived and can be exposed to danger if they use the mask as a protective gear. As an added insult to the to the injury the Preppersshop does not reply to my emails.”

“A really nice mask, creates a nice seal - with straps that makes it easy to adjust as needed. When correctly put on, there is not even a sign of fog inside of the glass. Takes very little time to put on, and even after wearing it for sometime is more comfortable than first imagined. Only tried with P3 R Anti-Viral Particle & CRBN filter til now. With personal experience from diving, this mask is more comfortable and easier to breathe through than a regulator. Really pleased with this purchase, and happily surprised by how easy it is the wear and use.”
