“Let me tell you, I was WAY skeptical about paying $150 for an acrylic night guard. I am a terrible grinder, I've chewed through three hard, acrylic bite plates in just over two years at $750 a pop from my dentist. My dentist said I should probably consider getting a metal one and I'm like, " um, I'm still paying off the second one!" I knew there had to be other options but I just didn't see how it could be any good. Anyway, broke and desperate, I ordered the hard grinder night guard, usually $189, but with the promotion I got it for $159. I'm a sucker for a guarantee so I thought I might as well. Everything was easy (hmmm, too easy, my skeptical brain hummed in my ear), the entire process was quick and painless. Took about 2.5 weeks from receiving my impression kit to getting my guard. Bottom line: there is ABSOLUTELY no reason to spend three times as much at the dentist to get out early of these things. Mine fits great and I honestly have zero complaints (trust me I tried to think of something”
“At 1/3 the price of my dentist made night guard this is a great deal. The material is certainly wearing faster so I expect that I will only end up getting 60-75% of the life of the dentist made version.
Because the material is softer (the one made by my dentist/their manufacturer) a perfect fit is not needed for comfort. I warm mine up and it slides right in. If they made it of harder material it might be difficult to guarantee perfect fit.
Considering the risk of losing a $600+ piece of dental equipment, I am very happy, I just wish there was an EXTRA hard version so those of us with lots of grinding wouldn't be left out in the cold”
“Undoubtedly due to some life stressors that began then, I started clenching my teeth 11 months ago. This has been serious clenching, to the point where it was causing excruciating pain to my ligaments. I tried everything to make myself stop: counseling/therapy, accupuncture, meditation, etc. etc. Nothing worked. I've been using those cheapie mouth guards from the drugstore, and they worked a little. The best thing they probably did was save some damage to the surfaces of my teeth. After some Googling online, I found this website and decided to give it a shot. Here's where I'll cut to the chase.
I just got my Hard Night Guard in the mail yesterday, and used it last night. I was a bit leery at first, as this material is very, very hard. It does indeed soften and flex a bit under hot water, though, just as they say in the directions. It fit like a glove. I could even talk halfway normally. Got up this morning, and OH. MY. GOSH... this thing is going to change my life. For the first time in 11 months, I woke up this morning without being in pain. I still have a dull ache, unsurprisingly, which I imagine will take some time to go away. But no pain, and no accompanying headache. I was so happy I could've cried, and I'm generally not a crier!
I'll stop now. Suffice it to say, I am one delighted, thankful customer. How appropriate, as Thanksgiving is in two days!”
“I purchased the heavy grinding night guard. It fits perfectly. It took me 2 tries of making the impressions until they were good enough for the mold. But it was totally worth it. It is better than my last night guard which I ordered from my dentist. It is so much cheaper and better. I will order again.”
“My new dentist recommended a teeth guard. I searched the web and found this lab. The process of this order was smooth and complete as promised. Even though I wear the CPAP at night, I still wear the teeth guard to protect my teeth.
The guard is working great and I really appreciate having it.
For those who grind teeth at night, please contact Pro Teeth Guard and make one or two.
Thank you.”
“This is my 3rd. I could not be more pleased! It fits perfectly. I will be a repeat customer. So much cheaper than going through your dentist. This was such a pleasant and easy experience.”
“I have had several night guards made over the years that the dentist had made for me.
When I told her I lost my last one, she said that the new ones were now $425. I balked a little and told her I would let her know if I was going to order a new one. When I got home, I googled night guards and found Pro Teeth guard. At first, I was unsure how it would turn out but when I got the modeling kit I realized this was pretty much how it was done at the dentists. When it arrived, it felt exactly like my old one when it was new. I just ordered a second one since it has been a year and I had the discount to order a second one. I didn't really need another one yet, but I went ahead and ordered it since the first one is a little worn and I like to have a back up one since I am a heavy grinder. It is also easy to do the fitting kit yourself.”
